Download UDE Download UDE from SourceForgeThe latest versions of the following UDE packages are available on our SourceForge download page:
SVN development versionThe most recent development version of the UDE project can also be obtained using subversion. The CVS repository is still accessible but obsolete. The current development tree for uwm stable can be checked out from https://udeproject.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/udeproject/uwm/branches/BRANCH-0.2 using the command svn co https://udeproject.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/udeproject/uwm/branches/BRANCH-0.2 Please note that the main branch (which is supposed to become uwm 0.3 one day) is currently put to sleep in an unstable state until someone with sufficient time comes along to resurrect 0.3. Meanwhile, the 0.2 branch will be maintained and enhanced. The current development version for urdb2gtkd can be obtained from https://udeproject.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/udeproject/urdb2gtkd/main using the command svn co https://udeproject.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/udeproject/urdb2gtkd/main Please see our Sourceforge subversion page for details and instructions on how to install and use subversion. Themes and Hexicon setsThemes and Hexicon sets are available on our SourceForge themes download page. RPM NotesRPM packages are made available on our SourceForge RPM download page. Please note that these packages are only supplied for your convenience and are not officially supported. If you have problems installing the rpm packages download and install the source package (don't worry, it's very easy to compile and it can be properly uninstalled using make uninstall). Debian NotesUDE is now included in the debian distribution. Please report Problems to Stephan Helma who is the package maintainer. ContributeIf you want to contribute binaries, language files, configurations, themes or background - send them to arc@users.sourceforge.net! The UDE project is also looking for develpers skilled in C and X11. Please contact arc@users.sourceforge.net if you're interested. If you want to contribute icons, please use this file as a template for the shape. If you want to contribute a theme please include a screen-shot. A theme should have it's own icons (doesn't have to), it's own background and it's own color configuration in the workspace configuration. |
